Le Douanier Rousseau

This is the French edition of a book relating about Le Douanier Rousseau's works.
Since 1931, the Réunion des Musées Nationaux publishes history of art texts in the catalogues of the exhibitions it organises.
In this book, the reader will find essays from this patrimony by two great scholars, Michel Hoog and Roger Shattuck.

We chose them to accompany the discovery of the Douanier Rousseau’s works that are kept in French museums.
