Munch "The yellow Trunk" Scarf

This scarf is inspired by the work of Edvard Munch The yellow log, 1912. Oil on canvas. 129 x 160.5 cm kept at The Munch Museum, Oslo Norway.

Munch was a norvegian symbolist painter, considered as an important forerunner of expressionnist art. In Paris in 1891 he made the initial sketches for his most famous work, The Scream. Munch was interested in visualising expressions of the soul. The Yellow Trunk is a very graphic painting, typical of his work from 1910 to 1920, when he was particulary interested in photography and silent movies.
