Exhibition catalogue "Rouge Kwoma, Peintures mythiques de Nouvelle-Guinée"

This French-language catalogue was published for the exhibition Red Kwoma, Mythical paintings of New Guinea presented at musée du quai Branly in Paris, until 4 January 2009.

Based on an Oceanian myth, the work of three contemporary Kwoma artists communicates with tradition.
The dialogue of the exhibited work – traditional art and contemporary art – illustrates how Kwoma painting, which links pictures with stories, allows us to understand the world.
