Lotus Flower Pendant-Brooch

This round ornament is formed by four lotus flowers in full bloom, in yellow faience, joined in the middle by a daisy. The lotuses are interspersed with small blue daisies.

The original may have been part of a tiara, an item of jewellery that the ancient Egyptians were fond of wearing during all periods of their history.
