Parakeet head Brooch - Macon & Lesquoy
Extravagant by nature, the parakeet, whose name is derived from the term parrot, is distinguished from the latter simply by the length of its tail.
Designed and embroidered by Macon & Lesquoy, this brooch is the essential accessory for elegance... right up to the black, velvet foam cushioned box!
The embroidery is entirely hand made with bullion thread, as to an ancient Indo-Pakistani technique.
Our brooches are fragile. Avoid rubbing and water! So as to keep them longer, put them back in their pretty little cardboard box after use.
