Jewel inspired by a detail of the work by the painter Georges de La Tour (1593 - 1652), "Le Tricheur à l'as de carreau" (The Cheat with the Ace of Diamonds), ca. 1635-1638. This is one of La Tour's key paintings. It depicts a young man being cheated at a game of cards by three accomplices: a courtesan, a servant and a swindler, seen on the left pulling out the master card from his belt.
