Disguise for child Roman Legionnaire
From the second century onwards, the equipment of a legionary consisted of the following elements: an armour made of articulated iron plates called "lorica segmentata", a belt (cingulum) that supported a series of leather bands covered with metal plates (from four to six), which protected the lower abdomen of the legionary, a helmet derived from the Gallic helmet with a wide neck cover, a quadrangular and very curved shield called scutum and a sword.
The disguise consisted of a red and grey tunic, a grey belt, a grey helmet, a sword and a shield.
One size fits all, it is suitable for children between 4 and 12 years old: the length of the tunic adjusts with the belt and the helmet is extensible.
The sword, the shield and the helmet are made of foam covered with fabric: so that the heroes play without getting hurt and can fight for real !!!
