Earrings Man Ray Lampshade - Gold plated
These guilded earrings are inspired by a photograph of one of Man Ray's emblematic muses, Catherine Deneuve.
These jewels are themselves inspired by the Lampshade work created by the artist between 1919/1954, a series of corrugated iron lampshades that he photographed in his studio.
Legendary photographer, painter and filmmaker, Man Ray (1890-1976) was undoubtedly one of the most versatile and inventive artists of this century.
Solid brass, electroplated with a matt gold finish, the ear wires are gold-plated.
