Joaquín Sorolla (1863-1923) is one of the most important references in 20th century Spanish painting. Creator of the most striking representations of a luminous and Mediterranean Spain, optimistic and modern, he is, alongside Velázquez and Goya, one of the most popular Spanish artists.
