The aim of "Nice, Queen of Flowers" is to present the almost ontological link between the city of Nice and flowers, which has been maintained and constantly renewed over time, and has manifested itself through numerous disciplines.
From the discovery of the Garden of Eden as Nice appeared to the first overwinterers to the development of horticulture, via the pleasure gardens of the villas, flowers have also become a source of inspiration for artists: they are found in literature as well as in paintings, they adorn the facades of buildings or furniture, and they are also celebrated in popular events such as the flower battles.
