This catalogue gives the opportunity to prestigious authors such as Hans Belting, Yve-Alain Bois, Serge Guilbault and Hans-Ulrich Obrist, as well as some young historians of French art, to finally study different aspects of Soulages's work. The book also includes a well-documented chronology and previously unpublished archives.
