This fresco represents a detail from one of the murals of the Villa of Mysteries, Pompeii, Italy.
Bottega Artigiana Tifernate reproduces paintings by means of the pictography technique. The Origin of the "Pictografia" is a method patented by the Bottega which enables us to realize reproductions with the same characteristics as a painting. Years of research and experimentation in the field of painting and restoration have enabled us to return with great precision to the materials and methods used by the Masters of the Renaissance to realize reproductions on canvas, wood panels and plaster-cement.
In particular, for fresco type reproductions we use the same type of mortar mix which Giotto used for his mural painting, a mortar free of salts and alkalies because these latter, with time, can contribute to corrosion and deterioration. The reproduction is done while the mortar is still wet so that the pigments, drying with it, become permanently incorporated in it.
Each reproduction is done individually with the final touches made by expert painters who are academy graduates.
Our reproductions are accompanied by a certificate attesting to the value of the article and the originally of the materials and methods used to create it, a value which is destined to increase with time.
