Skateboard Magritte Le fils de l'homme - The Skateroom
This maple wood skate features the work of Magritte "Le fils de l'homme". Magritte's 'Le fils de l'homme' was painted in 1964. An autoportrait, Magritte paints himself as a man clothed in a coat with a bowler hat, stood in front of a small wall, with the ocean and a cloudy sky sitting in the background.
The skate can also be used as a decorative object, hung on a wall, or to skate by adding wheels.
The Skateroom collaborates with the greatest contemporary artists to create democratically priced art editions on the flagship medium of counter-culture: skateboarding. They are also the originators of a social initiative, and donate part of their income to the NGO "Skateistan", which gives children and young people access to education and skate programmes in Afghanistan, Cambodia and South Africa.
