Beaux Arts Special Edition / Bacon
The Centre Pompidou is dedicating an exhibition to the British artist Francis Bacon (1909-1992). A retrospective that focuses particularly on the relationship between his works and his literary interests, since the artist stated loud and clear that "literature is a powerful stimulus to his imagination".
Beaux Arts Éditions paints a portrait of this tortured artist, marked by his traumatic childhood and the drama of war, which leaves little room for futility.
