Beaux Arts Special Edition / Georgia O'Keeffe - Centre Pompidou
The Centre Pompidou pays tribute to the great American artist Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986).
Beaux Arts Éditions looks back at the destiny of this artist, who promised herself to become "the most American of painters". From flowers to shells, from arid canyons to riverbeds, O'Keeffe never ceased to track down the forms that bear witness to "the metamorphoses of life and the cycles of Nature". His works are imbued with a timeless lyricism, simplifying form and colour to the extreme limit of figuration.
Exhibition at the Centre Pompidou from 8 September to 6 December 2021
