Napoleon Eagle Cufflinks
Linked with military victories since antiquity, the bird of Jupiter leaning on a lightning bolt became the emblem of the First Empire, after having been that of Imperial Rome.
Like the insignia of the Roman armies, Napoleon placed an eagle, a traditional heraldic symbol, on top of the standards of his regiments.
