FRENCH LANGUAGE This book is published on the occasion of the exhibition "Chiaroscuro Printmaking Cranach, Raphael, Rubens..." presented at the Musée du Louvre, Paris, from 17 October 2018 to 14 January 2019. The chiaroscuro engraving is an engraving printed in colors using a specific process, consisting in breaking down the engraving into as many matrices as there must be colors; where, previously, the color was brought by hand after printing.
