This catalogue is a wonderful dive into the heart of things since the beginning of humanity.
Artists were the first to take things seriously. They have represented them in many ways. They have made them lively and interesting by highlighting their form, their meaning, their power, their charm. They grasped their ability to make us imagine, think, believe, doubt, dream, act.
Their representations show that the boundary between what is and what is not, between the living and the non-living, is constantly changing. Things speak about themselves and about us, all together in the same world.

Through their inspired texts, more than two hundred authors bring us into the singular universe of things.
