The new edition of this bestseller!
This collection attempts to show what the Constitution of the French Republic is today, even though it has been profoundly reformed by the constitutional law of 23 July 2008.
This revision, undoubtedly the most important since 1958, is so extensive that one might well wonder whether we are not dealing with "a new Constitution". One of its major innovations is the creation of a priority question of constitutionality in Article 61-1 of the Constitution. This procedure, which came into force on 1 March 2010, brings the Constitution into the courts and thus tends to make constitutional law a truly living right.
