This new guide to the collections, incorporating the most recent state of research, is organized in two parts: the first, chronological, covers the seven periods from the Palaeolithic to the early Middle Ages, each of which is illustrated by an emblematic work, as well as a transversal approach to archaeology on the five continents. The second will deal with 70 major works from the collections in a thematic and playful approach.
This comprehensive guide will accompany any visitor to the museum, but also, more broadly, any reader curious about archaeology.
