Bracelet Hokusai - The great wave
This bracelet is inspired by a detail from one of the most famous works of the Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), The Great Wave (Under the Wave off the Coast of Kanagawa) (Kanagawa oki namiura) 1830-32.
Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), painter, draughtsman and engraver, is one of Japan's greatest and most influential artists. He renewed the art of engraving with his famous works as "Under the Wave off the Coast of Kanagawa" which is the first in a serie of prints entitled Thirty-six views of Mount Fuji published between 1831 and 1833.
