Design, architecture, photography... It is impossible to restrict Charlotte Perriand's (1903-1999) work to a single field of expression. An avant-garde designer, she joined Le Corbusier in 1927 and became responsible for the furniture and equipment of the home in her workshop on rue de Sèvres. In a spirit resolutely opposed to the Decorative Arts, they will create, in collaboration with Pierre Jeanneret, furniture that is the foundation of modern design.
