At the origin of the exhibition, a painting: Woman sitting on the beach, dating from February 10, 1937 and, kept since 1997 at the Musée des Beaux Arts in Lyon, since her bequest by the actress and collector Jacqueline Delubac.
Beaux Arts Éditions will draw a portrait of the great master before returning to the places, women and artists who inspired him. A dialogue then begins between his works and those of his "inspirers" (Ingres, Cézanne, Renoir) or his "heirs" (Moore or Bacon).
