A fun game to identify saints!
The new MYS'TIC is designed to give the keys to reading a large part of our religious heritage (churches and cathedrals, popular imagery, street names...). The ease of use of this game and the pleasure of handling the beautiful illustrated cards allow all generations to discover and learn to recognise a selection of popular figures from Christian culture.
The aim of the game is simple: you have to collect as many pairs as possible (HOLY + ATTRIBUTES), and get rid of all your cards while avoiding the devil's divisor who makes you lose the game. Thus, you have to find the sword for Saint Paul, the three schoolboys for Saint Nicholas, the eagle for Saint John, the keys for Saint Peter... and put them side by side on the table. The pair formed is visual, and easy to memorise: as the game progresses, the mental association becomes automatic.
The 39 illustrated cards provide information on 18 key holy men: background, main attributes, secondary attributes. And the "Who am I? cards offer, for each of these figures of Christianity, a text enriched by references to the corresponding illustrated card. The little plus: On the character cards, the century of life is indicated!
