An invitation to live in Japanese time, this planner presents all the festivals and public holidays in Japan. These events punctuate the year and reflect the culture of the archipelago. The Japanese are very sensitive to the elapse of time and its manifestations: seasons, flower blooms, meteorological phenomena. The months and days are written in French and Japanese. Each week is illustrated by a print or painting. In addition to Japan and France, public holidays and school holidays are indicated for Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec.
For the 2024 edition, the Japanese Planner is entirely illustrated with prints by Kitagawa Utamaro (1753-1806), the painter who brought the genre to its apogee.
