Although the religious, political and commercial relationships show differences between the two cities (crusades, slavery, independence wars, exiles...), concrete stories of people's lives reveal great similarities between them. North and South, all express the same liking for light, scents, savours, music and lyrics... All express love for Mother Mediterranea, the same on you can find at the heart of works by Albert Camus, Gabriel Audisio, Jean Alrouche...
