Closed for almost two years for renovation and modernisation, the Goya Museum finally opens its doors this spring. Located in a former 17th century episcopal palace, whose plans were designed by Jules-Hardouin Mansart - the gardens by Le Nôtre! - the museum houses a collection of Hispanic art unique in France, presenting Spanish art from Antiquity to the 20th century.
Beaux Arts Éditions is accompanying this reopening with a publication that looks at the location, the former bishop's palace dating from the 17th century, the history of the collections and successive donations, and the museum's masterpieces.
