Sir Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792)

Sir Joshua Reynolds was born on July 16, 1723 in Plympton and died on February 23, 1792 in London, is a British painter and engraver specializing in portraiture. A member of the English School of Painting, he became the first President of the Royal Academy of Arts in London in 1768.
