December 11, 2018 March 31, 2019 Exhibition has ended
Six months before disappearing into destitution and oblivion, Jean Jacques Lequeu deposited one of the most singular and fascinating graphic works of his time in the Bibliothèque nationale. This set of several hundred drawings presented here to the public in its entirety for the first time, testifies, beyond the first stages of an architect's career, to the solitary and haunting drift of an extraordinary artist.

Tote bag inspired by the banisters of one of the Petit Palais rotundas.

Wrought iron work
The main entrance gate, designed by Girault himself, was immediately praised for its elegance and the virtuosity of its craftsmanship. He also created the banisters for the staircases in rotundas and the garlands and swags of wrought iron decorating the peristyle and balconies.*
