The design of this bracelet is inspired by a marble capital carved with acanthus decoration - (5th - 6th - 7th centuries) - Abbey of Saint-Denis. The Acanthus leaf is a recurring motif that originated in classical Greek architecture (Corinthian capitals, friezes), and has been used throughout the ages, undergoing variations in style and reversals, its plastic flexibility allowing it to be used and adapted in many ways.
