The work and its artist

Kiki Smith (Née en 1954)

Kiki Smith is an American multidisciplinary artist with interests in printmaking, sculpture, drawing, film and installation. Her artistic work addresses the themes of the body, sex, regeneration, but also the relationship between man and nature. Representative of abject art, nothing is taboo for this artist who explores the human condition in all its disturbing aspects. Kiki Smith is also considered a committed feminist artist.
