In the mid 1800's, Napoleon III mandated Baron Haussmann to make Paris a modern city.
This is when the iconic Haussmannian buildings sprang up along with their typical zinc roofs granting more living space to the top floors.
Designed and made in France TOIT DE PARIS is created with recycled zinc sheets from typical Haussmannian Parisian roofs.
F O C U S is a piece of roof from Paris of more than half a century. It has been screen-printed with a focus on its arrondissement.
It is made of zinc that we recycled. The manufacture is entirely French and handmade. Each piece is unique.FOCUS will be sent to you in an envelope with its certificate of authenticity sealed and numbered.
Some FOCUS are dark gray, others light gray. The material is sometimes grainy, sometimes smooth. There are traces of its time on the roofs (scratches or stains).
