Mouilleron-Saint-Germain (Vendée) saw the birth of two important personalities in the history of France: President Georges Clemenceau (1841-1929) and Marshal Jean de Lattre de Tassigny (1889-1952). Three sites are dedicated to them in the village: - Clemenceau's birthplace, a place of remembrance opened in 2018, presents his personal and political career; - the birthplace of the Marshal de Lattre, a typical example of a 19th century Vendée notable's house, with memories of the Marshal; - the "museum of the two victories", which compares the lives of two men through works of art and documents. No longer meeting accessibility standards, this last site is closed to the public
