Inaugurated in 2007 in the Palais de Chaillot and heir to a long history of promoting heritage and architecture, the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine's mission is to raise awareness, disseminate and teach contemporary and heritage architecture and urban planning. It comprises a museum, a school, a center for contemporary architecture, a library and an archive.
