The Grand-Palais Rmn is honoring the Château de Fontainebleau with a collection of stationery inspired by its architecture. The château bears all the hallmarks of its passage through French history. From the great embellishments of the Renaissance under François 1er, to its transformation into an imperial palace under Napoléon 1er, who described it as "the house of centuries, the true home of kings", the Château de Fontainebleau expresses all the richness of France's heritage. Decorated with the emblems of François 1er, the tympanum of the Porte Dorée, the castle's first royal entrance, features the salamander, which is featured as a motif on this product from the Grand Paris workshops of excellence.
