On a clear night, a monkey, walking along a pond, discovers with astonishment that the moon has fallen into the water. He alerts his tribe and everyone decides to go and catch it. The most vigorous of them winds its tail to a branch and grips one of its companions, who grabs another, and then another, until at the end of the long chain, the last little touches the surface of the water. Yet, despite their best efforts, the moon remains elusive...
