Tea was discovered in China long before our era. Since then, the tea plant has been cultivated in many countries in Asia and around the world. China, Japan, India and Taiwan are among the most famous tea-producing countries.

This box contains 4 original teas, all from Asian terroirs. Each tea has its own distinctive flavour characteristics, linked both to the way it is processed (green tea, black tea, oolong tea) and to the diversity of the mountains on which it has grown.

SENCHA ARIAKE - 50g
Sencha Ariake is a fresh and invigorating Japanese green tea, with a vegetal and very slightly iodised taste, very pleasant in the morning. A good introduction to Sencha.

GRAND YUNNAN IMPERIAL - 30g
Named 'surgeon's tea' because it wakes you up without irritating you, this honey-scented tea is ideal in the morning.

DARJEELING MARGARET'S HOPE - 30g
Darjeeling Margaret's Hope is a summer Darjeeling from the Hilmalayan highlands. Woody and fruity, with lots of character, it stimulates without irritating.

BUTTERFLY OF TAIWAN - 30g
Round and long on the palate, this Oolong charms the taste buds with its woody, honeyed and spicy notes, and its subtly sweet flavour.
