FRENCH VERSION
The Musée Marmottan Monet dedicates the first major French exhibition to the painter Giovanni Segantini (1858-1899), one of the most important representatives of post-impressionism and European symbolism of the late nineteenth century, which left us with brilliant paintings of the pastures. The special series published on this occasion looks back at the career of this stateless artist, born in Italy under Austro-Hungarian domination, who, after having formed in Milan, finds in the Swiss Alps where he settles, the inspiration of his work.
Exhibition from April 29 to August 16, 2026 at the Musée Marmottan Monet.
