A few months later, on May 20, we found him in Auvers sur-Oise, welcomed by Doctor Gachet. Everything seems to smile on him, he paints tirelessly. But very quickly, a slow descent into hell begins, and after a final fight against madness, Vincent exchanges his life for his immortality.
