In a didactic, lively and synthetic version, the exhibition diary highlights the close relationship between the two Monet brothers, as well as the role that Léon played as a promoter of the Impressionist painters at the dawn of their career. It will place particular emphasis on the role of colour, or colours, as a common thread in this relationship, through an unpublished interview by Géraldine Lefebvre, curator of the exhibition, with Georges Roque, philosopher, art historian and specialist in the theory of colours.
