This is the French edition of the catalogue published on the occasion of the exhibition The Schneider Glassworks .
250 items from public and private collections have been gathered to evoke the creative genius of Charles Schneider (1881-1953) and his successors.
Trained in the Daum manufacture, Ernest Schneider (1877-1937) and his brother Charles founded the Schneider Glassworks which played a major role between the two world wars. Despite the hazards of war and history, the heirs of Charles and Ernest continued to produce artistic works until 1981.
