A true celebration of cherry trees, this boxed set, accompanied by an explanatory booklet, displays more than sixty works by the greatest masters of Japanese printmaking in an accordion format. The sakura, whose flower has become the emblem of the country, offers in early spring a grandiose bloom, in subtle variations of colours, which spreads like a vaporous cloud over the whole country, and which has given rise to an ancestral ritual, the Hanami.
