Each piece of Ybyrá jewellery is made from plants carefully harvested from the Amazon rainforest, the Atlantic rainforest, the Pantanal (flooded grasslands and savannahs), the Cerrado (Brazilian savannahs), or the fruits of European and African immigration of imported plant species that have flourished in the country.
To create a piece of Ybyra jewellery, each leaf undergoes a drying, metallising, waterproofing and polishing process, before finally receiving a gold bath that gives Ybyra jewellery its lustre and durability. All the gold used in Ybyra jewellery is certified by control bodies that combat illegal mining and gold trafficking. This guarantees that, from start to finish, the jewellery is part of a process that respects the preservation of Brazil's exuberant biodiversity.
