A sensitive look at a Nobel laureate family.
August 1914: Irene and Eve Curie are on vacation while their mother Mary - already a Nobel laureate with her husband Pierre, who died eight years earlier - finishes setting up her Institute of Radium. But when war was declared, Irene, the elder, went back to help her mother equipping cars with X-rays to go to the hospitals of the front. Eve, who enters sixth grade, has a taste for literature and arts than for science. What can it do on its own to help soldiers? Each in its own way, the two girls will participate in the war effort.
