What is the reality of prisons today? The exhibition offers you a reflection on our prison system inherited from the 18th century. Conceived in an immersive way, it explains, through the accounts of former prisoners but also through representations of our collective imagination, the paradox according to which prison isolates the individual to punish him and protect society, while aiming at his reintegration. A parallel journey invites you to explore, through theatre, the daily life of the detainees.
