This print illustrates the work carried out in 2016 by street artist JR, a specialist in anamorphosis, on Pei's pyramid at the Louvre. He creates the illusion of the glass monument's disappearance by collaging a photographic representation of the façade it has concealed since its creation in 1989. This collage is part of the Unframed project JR has been running since 2009. He uses archive images to give them a new lease of life by reinserting them into their original architectural context: a way of disrupting habit by resurrecting visual memory and monumental views for all to see in the public
