Reproduction in resin with a hand patina. Mold made from an impression of the original work exhibited at the Musée d'Orsay.
Rembrandt was the brother of the automobile manufacturer Ettore Bugatti, and he quickly turned to animal sculpture.
He was interested in many animals: European and exotic mammals, but also birds and reptiles, often species that no artist had yet represented. He was particularly fond of wild animals. This panther is a good example of his nervous and lively style.
