Le musée de Rodin, dernier chef-d'œuvre du sculpteur
"I give to the State all my plaster, marble, bronze, stone and drawings as well as the collection of antiques that I was happy to collect for the learning and education of artists and workers.
And I ask the State to keep all these collections in the Biron Hotel, which will be the Rodin Museum, reserving for me to reside there all my life."
Auguste Rodin, 1909
