WRITTEN IN FRENCH
When he sees that an exhibition on ancient crocodiles is being held at the Louvre Museum, Crocodingue is dying to see it. But he and Radegonde know that they cannot visit the exhibition without causing a panic. So they decide to enter the museum through the chimney. After risking his life to enter the immense monument, Crocodingue thinks he sees his young mistress Lola. But he loses sight of her. He sets out to look for her and wanders through the museum's rooms but is spotted by a guard. Forced to hide, he finds himself trapped at night in the museum where he comes face to face with the terrible rat Tac-Thibaut who is about to burgle a precious piece. Heroically, Crocodingue manages to foil this fatal plan but the guards see him flee and mistake him for the author of this aborted burglary and our young friend finds himself once again making the headlines in the newspaper.
This third volume still delights us with its humor, its dynamism and its tenderness.
