Authentic, handcrafted jewellery made from leaves, stones and seeds sourced from all of Brazil's biomes.

Each piece of Ybyrá jewellery is made from plants carefully harvested from the Amazon rainforest, the Atlantic rainforest, the Pantanal (flooded grasslands and savannahs), the Cerrado (Brazilian savannah), or even from European and African immigrant plant species that have flourished in the country.

To create a piece of Ybyrá jewellery, each leaf undergoes a process of drying, metallisation, waterproofing and polishing, before finally being dipped in gold, which gives Ybyrá jewellery its shine and durability. All the gold used in Ybyrá jewellery is certified by control bodies that combat illegal mining and gold trafficking. This guarantees that these pieces of jewellery are part of a process that respects the preservation of Brazil's exuberant biodiversity from start to finish.

Pau-brasil, or Brazil wood, is the tree that gave Brazil its name. For centuries, it was overexploited for its dyeing properties and was essential for the manufacture of bowsticks, but today it is endangered.

The pau-brasil jewellery collection pays vibrant tribute to this tree, now a symbol of the rampant deforestation of tropical forests.
